Service Terms & Conditions

Tunnel Out (“we”, “us”, “our” , “Tunnel Out“) owns this site and all it’s content. Tunnel Out provides its services to you (“Customer”, “you”, or “Subscriber”) as per the following conditions. Violation of these conditions may result in termination of your Subscription.
Tunnel Out reserves the right to change the terms of these conditions at any time.

1. Copyright

1.1. All content on this site, is the property of Tunnel Out and is protected by international copyright laws.

2. Communications

2.1. Service Between Tunnel Out and Customer

You consent to receive communication from us via text, telephone, and e-mail. You also consent to receive communication through chat on Tunnel Out’s website.

3. Service Conditions

3.1. Tunnel Outs’ service is solely intended for establishing Local Collect Calls between the Subscriber and the individual initiating the call from the Institution for which the Subscription is issued for.

3.1.a. The Tunnel Out number assigned to the Subscription, will forward calls to the number entered at the time of the Subscription purchase only.

3.1.b. Any request by the Subscriber to change the number entered at the time of purchase will require a new Tunnel Out number to be assigned.

3.1.c. Subscriber agrees that Collect Calls will be received from the institution for which the Subscription is issued for and to use the Tunnel Out number to receive Collect Calls from that Institution only.

3.1.d. Subscriber is responsible for all fees that result from violations to the Terms and Conditions.

3.1.e. Fees resulting from violations to the Terms and Conditions, will be assessed based on the origin of the call. Calls originating from with-in the province that the Subscription is issued for, will incur a fee of $3.50 per call. Calls originating from outside the province that the subscription is issued for, will incur a fee of $5.00 per call.

3.1.f. Payment of fees resulting from violations to the Terms and Conditions are due with-in 72hrs of notice being sent.  Payment will be scheduled for transaction using the saved payment details on file.  If no payment details are on file, an E-transfer Invoice will be generated.  

3.1.g. The Institution for which the Subscription is issued for, may be transferred in the event the Subscriber will no longer be receiving calls from that Institution. A fee of $25.00 (plus applicable taxes) will be charged if the Transfer request can be completed. At which time, a Tunnel Out number local to the new Institution will be issued.

3.1.h. Tunnel Out does not service international telephone numbers.

3.2. Tunnel Out shall not be held liable for any delay to provide the Subscription(s).

3.2.a.  Tunnel Out does not guarantee that the Tunnel Out number assigned will be approved by the Institution that the Subscription is issued for.

3.2.b. Tunnel Out does not guarantee the amount of days required for the Institution to approve the Tunnel Out number.

3.2.c. The Subscription’s expiry date is determined by it’s activation date and is not extended due to the amount of days required to have the Tunnel Out number approved by the Institution.

3.3. Tunnel Out reserves the right to prevent disclosing Subscription information in the situation that the Subscriber is not able to provide verifiable identification.

3.4. Subscriber is solely liable for all transmissions sent through the Tunnel Out number during their Subscription.

3.5. Subscriber will not resell any Tunnel Out service.

3.6. Subscriber may receive call history statements if requested in writing via email or through the website’s chat system.

3.7. Subscriber agrees to notify Tunnel Out via email or the website’s chat system within 30 days of the subscription’s renewal date, of any billing discrepancies. Subscriber agrees that any discrepancy will not be reviewed if so requested after the 30 day period.

3.8. Subscriber agrees to notify Tunnel Out, via email or the website’s chat system, when the Subscription is to be cancelled and the reason for cancellation.
3.8.a Subscriber agrees to have the Tunnel Out number removed from the Institution’s approved list.

4. Retention
4.1. With-in seven days of an expired Subscription, Subscriber agrees to notify Tunnel Out via email or the website’s chat system, to retain the assigned Tunnel Out number.
4.1.a. Subscriber agrees to notify Tunnel Out of the date that the Subscription will be renewed.
4.1.b. A Retention Fee of $27.25 (plus applicable taxes) is required if the renewal date exceeds 28 days since the previous Subscription’s expiration. Payment is due prior to that 28th day.
4.1.c. The Retention Fee retains the Tunnel Out number an additional 28 days.
4,1.d. Call forwarding is disabled during this retention period.
4.1.e. Failure to notify Tunnel Out with-in seven days of the expired Subscription, will result in the scheduled removal of the assigned Tunnel Out number at Tunnel Out’s discretion.

5. Referrals

5.1. Referral codes are provided to an active Subscriber at Tunnel Out’s discretion.

5.1.a. Referral Bonuses are only eligible to Subscribers with an active Subscription.

5.1.b Referral Bonuses are only eligible for referral codes accurately entered at time of purchase.

5.2. Referral Bonuses are applied to the end of the current active Subscription period.

5.2.a. Referral Bonuses are revoked if either Subscription is cancelled, or if either Subscriber violates the Terms and Conditions of Tunnel Out’s services.

6. Refunds

6.1. Refunds are eligible for review under the following circumstances.

6.1.a. The Institution does not approve the Tunnel Out number.

6.1.b. The Subscription is unable to be transferred to a new Institution, due to Tunnel Out being unable to provide a local number for that Institution.

6.2. Refunds are reviewed upon written request through chat or email support.

6.2.a. An eligible refund is calculated by the number of days remaining in the active Subscription at a rate of $2.50 per day.

6.2.b. An eligible refund will be issued with-in seven days of the request. The refund will only be provided to the original payment method used to purchase the Subscription.

6.2.c. All refunds are subject to a $2.00 refund fee.

6.2.d. Refunds are not issued for accounts that are in violation of the Terms and Conditions.
