What is Tunnel Out?

Tunnel Out supports individuals that want to receive local collect calls from their loved ones that are incarcerated in certain Canadian Federal Penitentiaries. A VOIP number, local to the Institution, is provided for the duration of the Subscription and will automatically forward each call to your personal device.

How is your service different?
Similar services charge you a “Standard Connection Fee” of $1.50 for every call on-top-of the monthly rate for the local phone number.  Making two calls a day, that would cost you $90.00 a month just in connection fees.
Tunnel Out is a fixed-rate service with unlimited calls.
Are you seriously offering free collect calls from jail?
Each Subscription option includes unlimited calls at the fixed rate cost of the Subscription.  As always Terms and Conditions apply, so please read them.
What does Re-Stocking Mean when selecting an institution?
Numbers, local to that Institution, are being added to our system.  Placing an Order will reserve the next available number for that Institution.  Confirmation of your activation date will be provided after the Order has been received.
 
Do you accept e-transfer or Paypal?

In addition to the major Credit/Debit options, E-transfer and PayPal are also accepted.  Click here to purchase a subscription by E-transfer or PayPal.

What if there is a Institution transfer?

A Subscription may be transferred mid-subscription with a Transfer Fee of $25.00+tax and new Tunnel Out number, local to the new Institution, can be provided.
Contact Tunnel Out as soon as the transfer is scheduled to reduce the time needed for approval.

What if I no longer need the service?
Cancel your subscription from your account page, or Get in Touch with us, and the service will end when your current subscription period expires.
